Although we’re really privileged to live in a wonderful part of New Zealand, our five travel experts here at World Travellers Wanaka are passionate people who believe in the magic of travel and understand the thrill of new experiences.

Our globe-trotting means we have the inside story on destinations as varied as weekend getaways to Sydney, trekking holidays in Spain, South America and South-east Asia, expeditions to Africa or river cruises through Europe – and we are an accredited ICCA (International Cruise Council of Australasia) agent so we have access to the best cruising deals worldwide.

World Travellers Wanaka has been your local travel expert since 1989 and in 2012 joined World Travellers – the fastest growing travel cooperative in New Zealand. We are well established travel professionals who understand every travel experience requires a unique approach. That’s why for every individual holiday or business trip that we organise on your behalf, we’re happy to act as your personal concierge looking after tickets, itineraries, insurance and visas – even inspiration for one-off events which you might not have considered.

Our love of travel comes from the cultures, landscapes, experiences and people we meet and the stories that bind them together – which means we’re always coming up with exciting and innovative ways to make your journey special. ​DO YOU WANT TO BE A WORLD TRAVELLERS CONSULTANT?

If the idea of selling amazing holidays to fantastic world travellers appeals to you, then a career in the travel industry might be for you.

Due to World Travellers' position in the market as travel experts, we require a minimum of 2 years experience in the travel industry before we will consider you as a possible World Travellers Consultant. We prefer 5 years+ experience, but as the majority of our employees are long term loyal team members, we can take on a portion of staff with less experience.

What is not negotiable, however, is that you MUST love, live and have a true passion for travel, as well as the drive and energy to share your travel blogs, opinions and views with other World Travellers consultants and World Travellers customers.
