THE ANAM VIETNAM

The Anam’s philosophy is “Indochine charm, modern luxury’, promising guests a unique experience that cannot be found anywhere else in Vietnam.

The resort boasts more than 200m of absolute beach frontage on one of the world’s most beautiful bays. There are stunning views across the ocean and surrounding islands to the east, as well as the rugged, jungle-clad mountains to the west.

The Anam’s signature designed villas nestle harmoniously into the surrounds and with warm tropical breezes and swaying palms, it’s as close to paradise as one can find.

Celebrated as one of Vietnam’s most picture-perfect seaside enclaves, the location is revered by resort staff, who make a conscious effort to maintain stringent sustainability practices to ensure there is minimal impact on the local environment. The Anam curbs the use of plastic as much as possible by discontinuing single-use plastics, such as plastic bags, drinking bottles and straws. From an aesthetic perspective, the use of natural stone and sustainably harvested timber throughout the resort allows it to blend into its natural setting. Impressively, some 3,000 palm trees were planted as part of the project, along with pink and white Frangipani, Banyan trees, banana fans, hedges of hibiscus and bougainvillea, and beds of spider lily and canna. Such landscaping took precise planning at the very earliest stages to ensure plant placement did not require adjustment once construction began. The Beach Club bar is situated perpendicular to the beach to make the most of the sea breeze and minimise solar gain. It has the same roof arrangement as the villas, but the gables are open to assist with cooling.
