Offering plenty of variety, Honshu provides a perfect blend of long runs, powder and thrilling vertical
alongside great facilities, true Japanese hospitality and traditional cuisine.
With a long season from mid-November to early May, Hakuba, which means ‘white horse’ in Japanese, is an epic valley with 10 different ski resorts and hundreds of kms of trails spread over a huge variety of terrain.
Hakuba boasts the longest vertical in Japan and runs exceeding 6km. With such an incredible variety of terrain, Hakuba is a ski holiday destination for both skiers and snowboarders.
With 21 different ski resorts and interlinked slopes Shiga Kogen is considered to be one of the largest ski areas in Japan and perfect for a ski holiday.
Located north east of Nagano, the area was previously host of the 1988 Nagano Winter Olympics and here you will find a diverse ski terrain that stretches from heights of 1,340m to 2,305m with runs suitable for all ski/board abilities.
